Meizu M5 with 3070mAh Battery Launched in India at Rs 10,499

Meizu has finally launched the Meizu M5 in India. The device is currently being offered in both 16GB and 32GB variants and is priced at Rs 10,499 for the latter.

This time around, Meizu has tied up with tatacliq.com as its online sales partner. The Meizu M5 had been originally released in China last year. Meizu M5 will be offered in limited color options i.e blue and gold colors (Other colors offered in the Chinese market are missing.)

The Meizu M5 comes equipped with a 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750. The M5 is offered in two variants, 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB. However, the company is yet to announce the pricing for the 16GB variant. Also, the storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via the microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the device offers a 13-Megapixel primary camera with PDAF and f/2.2 while the secondary camera is a 5-Megapixel sensor with f/2.0. The fingerprint sensor on the phone is placed at the front and supports payment options.

Furthermore, the sensor is touted to unlock your phone in a matter of 0.2 seconds. Meizu M5 runs on Android Marshmallow and is backed by a 3070mAh battery that is rated to offer 66-hours of music playback. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB.
