Today almost everyone uses smartphone and almost every data is saved in phone's memory, but when it's memory is full we use memory card to store all kind of data like Apps, Music,Video,Photos etc, but what will happen if our memory card stops functioning,as a result of which our personal and important data may get deleted. 1.USE THE MEMORY CARD IN DIFFERENT DEVICE
First of all try checking the memory card in a different phone,because sometimes due to virus in phone data doesn't really show on the phone which might result in us thinking that card is damaged.
2.INSERT MEMORY CARD IN A CARD READER
Check the memory card in the card reader of your laptop,then go to start menu.There in search box type "cmd".Now command window will open ,then type "chkdsk"in it.Then press 'colon' and type /f and press enter after it. You will get the solution to your problem.
3.CHECK YOUR DRIVE
Sometimes, system doesn't assign new drive for memory card and pop up appears 'enter disk in drive'.You ca n solve this problem by going to settings menu and assigning new drive letter.
4.CARD PROPERTY
Go to card drive properties and check space.If all the files in your sd card has been deleted then you will see full space on your card.Sometimes only directory is deleted, in such cases you can use san disk in-built solution which can restore all the deleted files.
